Welcome to Unison

The village of Unison is one of the oldest communities in Loudoun County, Virginia. Unison was settled by Quakers in the 1730s and chartered as a village in 1812. As you can see from the photos above, many of the homes, structures and the village itself look remarkably just like they did at its founding and in the early years of its history.  Indeed, the Unison Preservation Society was founded in 2001 to ensure that  this wonderful, diverse and cozy village survives and thrives while continuing to reflect the modern world.

Welcome to our site and enjoy exploring Unison’s past, and to connect with its vibrant and interesting present.
